The Watts Evangelism Scholarship Foundation is in Memory of Xzavion Rashawn Watts and Damarion Isaiah Sharpe, whose lives were tragically shortened due to the senseless Act of Gun Violence currently impacting our Community and our Nation. 

The purpose of the “Zay & Bop” Sports Scholarship is to assist High School Athletic Students with his or her College Tuition. This year, Four Sports Scholarships will be awarded to four deserving first year undergraduate college students. These Athletic Students will be selected from the local High Schools throughout Catawba County. One student will receive $1,000 dollars and three students will receive $500.00 dollars each; paid during his or her Fall Semester.
